Dear Readers
Anyone working with Buchem's products can rest assured that they are safe, as long as they are used properly. For example, we reacted immediately when a solvent used by us had its hazard classification increased. You can find out more about this, and other interesting topics, in our latest newsletter. I hope you enjoy reading it,

Special cleaner, free from genetically harmful substances
Our highly effective cleaners, Cleaner SE and Cleaner SC, have been specially developed as mould cleaners for plastic injection moulding. The solvent and plasticiser which was formerly used, had its hazard classification increased last year. We immediately looked for a replacement, and found one. The new solvent component gives you the same solvent power and bandwidth.

Strasmann takes over customer service and sales
Johannes Strasmann was a member of Buchem's staff in 2008/9. We are pleased that he has rejoined the team and has taken over the Buchem office. Among his responsibilities are customer service and sales, order processing, route planning and many more. He enjoys spending his free time with his girlfriend, or on the football field. He is the coach of the A youth team of SV09-35 Wermelskirchen and also plays football himself. His tip for the European Championship final: Germany versus France. You can reach Johannes Strasmann by telephone in the office at +49 2196 7277-12 or by e-mail: johannes.strasmann@buchem.de.

Particularly eye-catching are the three so-called crane houses that remind us of the historical loading cranes. The open-air display combines the materials from the past with those of today. A fascinating element is the rust which has built up on metal plates and, with its brown rusty colour, creates an exciting counterpoint. read more...
